Long Term Agreement for the supply of Office Furniture

In 2016, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) awarded American Procurement Services a long-term agreement for the supply of Office Furniture to their offices in Africa. UNECA is a UN agency that places special focus on collecting up to date and original regional statistic in order to ground its policy research and advocacy. UNECA focuses in the following areas: macroeconomic policy, regional integration and trade, social development, natural resources, innovation and technology, gender, and governance.

Contract Execution

APSCO supplied furniture to multiple UNECA office’s which furnished their conference rooms, lounge area and main office work areas.  APSCO was able to execute the contract with their long time manufacturing partner who was able to produce furniture for each order under 45 days. The furniture supplied include desks, chairs, tables, bookcases, cabinets, sofas, coffee tables and similar.  Throughout this three (3) year contract, APSCO supplied furniture to their offices in Djibouti, Ethiopia and Morocco.  For each order, UNECA would request a broad range of furniture, in which APSCO would provide a catalog of furniture. This gave UNECA multiple options and styles to choose from. Once the items were confirmed, production was initiated and completed, with dispatch following shortly after.

American Procurement Services continued to supply UNECA with office furniture until 2018, when the contract ended. For more information or to request pricing for any of the products mentioned in this article, please contact us.
